Bank Aesthetics, formerly known as Beautifil Aesthetics, was started by our Clinical Director Maria Phillips in 2007. Originally it was established as a mobile clinic with Maria working from various clinic locations across Coventry and Warwickshire.
In 2013, to meet with Bank Aesthetics’ increasing client base, Maria decided to put down her roots and open her first ever permanent clinic. After making the decision to move into premises, Maria was fortunate enough to find and empty unit in the characteristic Bank Gallery, a beautifully restored historic building, situated in Kenilworth’s Old High Street. The space provided light and airy treatment and reception areas and so in November 2013 Beautifil Aesthetics (as it was then known) opened its doors to the public.
Maria Phillips is a Registered Nurse and has always striven to reach the highest standards of patient care, from the consultation process through to treatments. She will only use premium products and her knowledge and expertise is renowned amongst her peer group throughout the UK.
Since opening her Aesthetics clinic in Kenilworth, Maria has been recognised by leading organisations within the sector. In 2015 Maria was recognised for her work on behalf of Obagi Medical and was promoted to represent them as an Ambassador and in 2016 the clinic became the first (and only) clinic in the region to be awarded Save Face’s Excellence status. Maria is also been appointed Regional Lead Nurse for the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) a professional body in aesthetic medicine.
The excellent reputation of Maria’s work, along with her beautiful boutique-style clinic has seen patient numbers triple and on the 1 May 2016 the clinic relocated to a bigger unit with the Bank Gallery.
The move was also a catalyst for a more significant change within the business; a name change. On 1st May 2016 Beautifil Aesthetics re-launched as Bank Aesthetics.
Maria explains the reasoning behind the name change, “Over the past few years I have seen a huge increase in the number of males we treat. I want my clinic to provide a warm welcome to everyone and I felt that the old name was very feminine. I feel now is the right time to make the change as I look to build on the success of the clinic and extend my client base even further. “
